I’d like to introduce Henry who started with us as Master Electrician and Chief Estimator on September 10th. Henry will work in both Sales and Operations where he will report to Al Sheldt, Vice President of Operations. Some of his job responsibilities will include advising the company in the means and methods of electrical installation, interpret the National Electric Code, OSHA regulations, municipal criteria, and plant specifications for practical application and installation of electrical materials and equipment. As Chief Estimator his job responsibilities will include management of the proposal team to complete take-offs, assemble packages, apply pricing, write proposals, and present our offers to business owners, general contractors, or other firms for review and also negotiate pricing with our customers and work directly alongside customer all the way through project completion to ensure that all stakeholders are satisfied with the project deliverables and final cost.
We’ve hired Henry to improve the effectiveness of our proposal team and improve collaboration among all divisions. He is a team player and eager to answer questions and lend his knowledge and experience to help with the technical challenges that we face.
Henry comes to us with extensive knowledge in the industrial and commercial electrical fields and has many years’ experience as an electrical services small business owner. He has a Master Electrician License with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation and has served as the Master of Record for previous companies. Interestingly, he was also a Chief Warrant Officer in the U.S. Army flying the Bell OH-58 Kiowa helicopter in combat over Kosovo/Bosnian War and flew Life Flight for MD Anderson.
